About the Role
The Beverage Attendant serves as both bartender and inventory steward. Responsibilities include mixing and serving a full range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, greeting guests, offering recommendations, verifying age, handling payments, maintaining a clean bar environment, and conducting monthly inventory checks. • Mix and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages per guest requests and resort standards. • Greet guests, take orders, and provide drink recommendations. • Verify customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance. • Process payments, manage receipts, and balance the register each shift. • Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and sanitation at all times. • Restock bar supplies and conduct monthly inventory checks to track stock and report discrepancies. • Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service and a positive guest experience. • Engage guests at the bar to create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. • Meet physical demands: stand, walk for extended periods, and lift heavy trays of drinks.

What You Bring
Successful candidates have at least two years of bartending or beverage‑attendant experience in a resort or hotel setting, strong customer‑service and communication skills, basic math for transactions, and the physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy trays for extended periods. Flexibility for on‑call shifts and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential. Preferred qualifications include up‑to‑date TIPS certification, a Food Handler permit, and prior experience with inventory management. While these are not required, they enhance a candidate’s suitability. • Possess at least 2 years of bartending or beverage‑attendant experience in a resort or hotel setting. • Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills with a positive attitude. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Preferred: current TIPS certification and Food Handler permit; prior inventory management experience.
