About the Role

• Manage estimating process on projects totaling $50‑$100M annually. • Prepare quantity take‑offs for budgeting, focusing on commercial interior, life‑science, and pharmaceutical projects. • Use OnScreen Takeoff, CMiC, and Excel to calculate, record, and track estimates. • Update centralized cost database with pricing, union wage increases, inflation, and market adjustments. • Compile detailed scopes for subcontractor review during level‑bid process. • Solicit 3‑5 subcontractor bids per trade or supplier group. • Review and descoping subcontractor bids to ensure compliance with specifications, code, quality, schedule, logistics, and insurance requirements. • Identify omitted items and provide complete estimates to meet client financial objectives. • Execute subcontractor purchasing process, ensuring qualified subcontractors for various project types. • Conduct project kickoff and closeout meetings to ensure smooth information transition across teams. • Remain engaged from bid phase through project completion for RFIs, change orders, ticket pricing, and subcontract execution. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and team members. • Attend client meetings, resolve pricing/estimate issues, participate in value engineering, and obtain client approval. • Contribute to team collaboration and development to grow the estimating department.

What You Bring

RC Andersen, part of STO Building Group, is seeking an experienced Estimator to support our Atlanta division. The Estimator will be responsible for budgeting, bidding, leveling, and awarding a diverse set of industrial projects, and will continue to support the project team throughout all phases of construction. The position will require involvement in several projects simultaneously. • Bachelor’s degree or relevant construction experience (construction management, engineering, architecture preferred). • Minimum 5 years experience in estimating, purchasing, or related duties. • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office/Excel.
