About the Role

As a Junior Systems Integration Engineer at Bridges, you will work alongside experienced engineers to deliver high‑quality control and automation solutions for the water industry. You’ll support the team with documentation, testing, and system integration activities, developing your skills through hands‑on project work and structured mentoring. • Produce and maintain technical documentation such as I/O schedules, control philosophies, and functional design specifications. • Support PLC and SCADA software configuration, testing, and commissioning under supervision. • Participate in system builds, Factory Acceptance Tests, and site testing alongside senior engineers. • Maintain organized project files, drawings, and version‑control records according to Bridges standards. • Follow a structured 24‑month development plan to build technical competence and confidence. • Engage in mentoring sessions and knowledge‑sharing activities. • Complete vendor training (e.g., Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens) with guidance from senior engineers. • Develop professional communication and reporting skills through direct project involvement and client exposure. • Collaborate with engineering, panel‑build, and commissioning teams. • Contribute ideas to improve quality, safety, and efficiency in daily work. • Learn quickly and apply guidance from senior engineers.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for control, automation, and systems engineering. • Hold a solid academic or practical foundation in electrical, control, or software engineering. • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a methodical problem‑solving approach. • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms. • Familiarity with PLC/SCADA software such as Schneider EcoStruxure, Rockwell Studio 5000, or Siemens TIA Portal. • Basic understanding of instrumentation and control system architecture. • Awareness of industrial networks, telemetry, or automation system components. • Prior work experience, placement, or project exposure in automation or related engineering.
