About the Role
The Leasing Consultant executes the property’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role involves all activities related to leasing new residents, ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals. Key responsibilities include conducting face‑to‑face sales and leasing activities, processing applications and credit checks, preparing lease packages, and ensuring smooth move‑ins. The consultant also handles accounting and administrative reporting, creates off‑site marketing initiatives, analyzes market trends, enforces lease agreements, manages renewals, and promptly addresses resident and owner concerns. Maintaining property safety, cleanliness, and daily inspections of show units is also essential. • Conduct property tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and finalize lease signings • Manage accounting, financial, and administrative reporting tasks • Develop and execute offsite marketing, referral, and digital campaigns to drive traffic • Analyze market trends and recommend property improvements • Enforce lease agreements, including inspections, evictions, and collections • Coordinate lease renewal program and ensure timely signing of renewal documents • Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, resolving issues efficiently • Maintain property safety, cleanliness, and appearance; report maintenance concerns • Perform daily inspections of leasing office, amenities, and model units • Stay updated on industry technology, standards, and best practices

What You Bring
Work hours are typically 40 hours per week with site hours of Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm, Saturday 10 am‑5 pm, and Sunday 1 pm‑5 pm. The role requires weekend availability, office work combined with exposure to outdoor conditions, and the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lb unaided (or 50 lb with assistance), and perform occasional local travel. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED; property management, sales, marketing, or customer service experience is preferred. Required skills include strong communication, presentation, computer proficiency (including property‑management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite), and a valid driver’s license.
