About the Role

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete leasing paperwork prior to move‑in and assist with lease audits and unit turn processes. • Track prospect traffic and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to boost property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan execution and ongoing market surveys/analysis. • Maintain product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; submit weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and uphold community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisor.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. The role requires regular on‑site attendance, the ability to move around the property, ascend ladders or stairs, lift or carry up to 25 lb, and work overtime, weekends, nights, or in varied weather and temperature conditions.
