By analysing specifications, managing budgets, tracking expenditures, and collaborating with project teams, this role safeguards project profitability and client satisfaction in a market with tight margins and evolving scopes. • Analyse project specifications and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates. • Maintain and monitor project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial policies. • Track actual spending against forecasts, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. • Prepare and submit project cost reports to management and stakeholders. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams to gather data and implement cost controls. • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend best practices to improve profitability. • Work with the planning team to assess risks and opportunities. • Communicate effectively with engineering, procurement, planning, and site teams. • Commit to quality, safety, and compliance standards. • Apply a problem‑solving mindset to recommend mitigation actions.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. • Possess 5+ years of experience as a Cost Control Engineer. • Have proven experience on large‑scale construction projects in the Middle East. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. • Exhibit strong analytical and numerical skills for precise cost tracking and forecasting. • Be detail‑oriented and adaptable in fast‑paced project environments.
