About the Role
This role oversees multiple high‑profile sites for Caravan Facilities Management, developing operating strategies and managing account development at client locations. It requires deep knowledge of each client’s operating profile, current and potential service needs, and innovative applications of labor, technology, and resources. The manager determines required resource levels and secures client approval for adjustments to services, staffing, equipment, and material contracts, while maintaining close communication with senior plant managers and Caravan FM’s reporting lines. • Safety Compliance & Oversight: Ensure staff and subcontractors meet safety requirements, review incidents, observe practices, and conduct monthly briefings. • Operational Planning & Efficiency: Oversee the Site Operating Plan, identify improvements in process, technology, material flow, and staffing to boost performance and cut costs. • Customer Coordination & Issue Resolution: Adjust operations based on feedback, build senior customer relationships, and resolve major complaints with root‑cause corrections. • Hiring & Personnel Management: Provide hiring guidelines, interview participation, approve site manager recommendations, and manage new‑hire processing, training, and disciplinary actions. • Business Growth & Opportunities: Identify new project, staffing, and service opportunities and advise sales on customer background and key personnel. • Analytical: Gather, interpret, and evaluate information to make data‑driven decisions and recommend effective solutions. • Customer Service: Manage difficult situations, respond promptly, solicit feedback, and meet commitments. • Teamwork: Balance team and individual responsibilities, give and receive feedback, and foster a positive team spirit. • Delegation: Assign work with appropriate authority, set expectations, monitor progress, and recognize results. • Managing People: Involve staff in planning, provide performance feedback, develop skills, and promote quality and process improvements. • Diversity: Uphold EEO policies, respect cultural differences, educate on diversity, and promote a harassment‑free environment. • Organizational Support: Follow policies, complete administrative tasks timely, and support company goals and affirmative action. • Strategic Thinking: Develop strategies, analyze strengths, weaknesses, market conditions, and adapt to external threats and opportunities. • Safety and Security: Follow safety procedures, act appropriately beyond guidelines, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment properly.
