About the Role
Job Summary: The Janitor will perform commercial custodial cleaning of buildings. Typical duties include dry mopping, sanitizing and wet mopping floors, cleaning baseboards, corners, and edges, spot cleaning walls, doors, and windows, vacuuming carpet, and cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, showers, partitions, locker rooms, and related fixtures. Additional responsibilities involve stocking restroom and breakroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, seat covers, and soap, emptying trash cans, collecting recyclables, cleaning water fountains, interior and exterior glass, mixing cleaning chemicals, and reporting any needed repairs. • Follow training and corporate, project, and contractual guidelines. • Perform work safely and meet quality standards. • Dry mop, sanitize, and wet mop floors; clean baseboards, corners, and edges. • Spot clean walls, doors, and windows; vacuum carpet. • Clean and disinfect restrooms, showers, partitions, and locker rooms. • Stock restroom and breakroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. • Empty trash, collect recyclables, and clean water fountains and glass surfaces. • Mix cleaning chemicals and report needed repairs. • Maintain a professional, positive attitude and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

The janitor presents a professional, positive, and helpful attitude when interacting with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors, and maintains effective communication with management, employees, and customers. Required skills and abilities include U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain base access, a valid state driver’s license, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication. Education and experience requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of recent experience in commercial janitorial cleaning. • Possess U.S. citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain base access. • Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication skills. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of commercial janitorial experience.
