About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic III you will service and repair heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, and company vehicles. You will diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulics, motors, transmissions, air‑conditioning, and electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, complete paperwork, and maintain auxiliary equipment like light plants, water pumps, and welders. • Repair heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, and company cars. • Diagnose and fix differentials, hydraulic, motor, transmission, air‑conditioning, and electrical systems. • Perform preventative maintenance according to site checklists. • Complete paperwork such as work orders, PM checklists, and oil sample documentation. • Maintain auxiliary equipment like light plants, water pumps, welders, and other tools.

What You Bring

The role requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, and constant standing, walking, and grasping, with occasional sitting and balancing. You will be exposed to physical hazards such as cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and environmental conditions like dirt, noise, weather extremes, and both indoor garage and outdoor settings. • Minimum 6 years of heavy‑equipment maintenance experience. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations; must pass drug screen and physical. • Work independently, take accountability for quality, communicate effectively, and demonstrate curiosity and determination.
