About the Role

You will work on a variety of systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, fan coils, water‑source heat pumps, air handling units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes, with responsibilities expanding as you develop troubleshooting skills and consistently complete assignments. • Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, including cleaning, filter and belt replacement, and lubrication • Repair and replace defective components or wiring on fan coils, heat pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes • Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns or callbacks • Conduct warranty service inspections and functional testing of HVAC systems • Guide Level I technicians through hands‑on troubleshooting and repair demonstrations • Assist with centrifugal rebuilds under lead technician supervision • Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other required documentation promptly • Provide customers with status updates before, during, and after service calls • Explain technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences • Participate in training programs via regional trainers, off‑site modules, and Daikin Learning • Maintain required certifications and continuously develop new skill sets • Uphold standards, policies, procedures, and maintain a clean work area • Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures

What You Bring

The position requires regular customer interaction, providing status updates before, during, and after service calls, and clear communication of technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Accurate record‑keeping of billing, inventory, timecards, and other reports is essential, as is adherence to OSHA and Daikin safety policies. Minimum qualifications include 3+ years of related HVAC experience or equivalent education, a high school diploma or GED (technical HVAC certification is a plus), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to support rotational emergency calls. Preferred qualifications are commercial HVAC experience, EPA Universal Technician Certification, OSHA 10 within 90 days, and a current first‑aid/CPR card. • 3+ years of related HVAC experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent education • High School Diploma or GED; technical HVAC certificate is a plus • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record • Ability to provide rotational emergency call support as required • Commercial HVAC industry experience preferred • EPA Universal Technician Certification • OSHA 10 certification within 90 days (training provided) • Current first‑aid/CPR certification
