About the Role
We are seeking an established leader to join our team as Head of Sustainability Advisory, responsible for delivering policy, sustainability, circular economy, sustainable finance, ESG, decarbonisation, climate adaptation and resilience consultancy to private and public sector clients. In this pivotal role you will own the strategic direction, operational efficiency and growth of the Sustainability Advisory unit, acting as the primary interface with senior stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with client and organisational objectives. You will foster a high‑performing, collaborative environment across our India‑based team. • Lead and expand the India sustainability advisory team across policy, ESG, and climate services. • Set strategic direction, ensure operational efficiency, and drive growth of the unit. • Serve as primary liaison with senior client and stakeholder groups. • Build and mentor high‑performing, cross‑functional teams. • Oversee complex advisory projects and ensure alignment with client objectives. • Report to UK iCRC and shape the unit's vision. • Work within WSP’s hybrid model, leveraging global scale and local expertise.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the UK and international advisory market, deep expertise in one or more core service areas, and experience building and leading teams across diverse capabilities. You will report to the UK iCRC and play a key role in shaping and implementing the unit’s vision. A proven track record of successfully leading complex advisory projects and a passion for driving growth across adjacent services are essential. • Demonstrate deep expertise in sustainability, circular economy, finance, and decarbonisation. • Possess strong knowledge of UK and international advisory markets. • Proven track record of leading advisory teams and delivering results.
