About the Role

As a Maintenance Tech II you will maintain guestrooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas, ensuring an attractive and well‑kept property with a primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Assignments cover a variety of skills such as painting, stucco, drywall, staining, and ceiling work, as well as basic appliance and air‑conditioning troubleshooting. You will interact directly with guests to resolve issues, conduct basic repairs on appliances, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC controls, and perform cosmetic upkeep like caulking, tile work, door hardware replacement, and light‑bulb changes. Preventative maintenance schedules will be followed, rooms inspected for pest intrusion, and detailed logs kept in English, while maintaining clear communication with engineering leadership and assisting teammates on special projects. • Resolve guest issues and maintain high satisfaction levels • Execute drywall, painting, staining, and wall‑vinyl repairs • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning and filter changes • Replace caulk, tile, grout, door hardware, light bulbs, ballasts, and furniture components • Conduct preventative maintenance and replace faulty plumbing components • Inspect rooms for pest intrusion and perform cosmetic appliance repairs • Maintain detailed logs and inspection sheets in English • Communicate effectively with engineering leadership and assist on special projects

What You Bring

The role requires a team‑first attitude, strong verbal and written communication in English, and the physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet, lift or carry up to 50 lb, and push/pull up to 100 lb. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of facilities maintenance experience, and the ability to follow written and verbal directions; a valid driver’s license and three to five years of related experience are advantageous. • Perform basic appliance and air‑conditioning troubleshooting and repairs • Meet physical requirements: lift/carry up to 50 lb, climb ladders up to 40 ft, push/pull up to 100 lb • Hold at least two years of facilities maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English • Possess a valid state driver’s license (preferred) and three to five years related experience (preferred)
