About the Role

• Use torque wrenches, power tools, and hand tools for mechanical assembly • Operate precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers • Perform turning and milling machine operations • Build crates for packaging heavy equipment • Operate forklift, pallet jack, or reach truck • Maintain a safety‑first work mentality • Receive, store, and issue materials and equipment in the storeroom • Execute shipping and receiving tasks: wrapping, packing, weighing, crating, loading, unloading, and documentation • Operate lifting equipment including forklifts, hoists, hand trucks, overhead cranes, and company vehicles • Conduct inventory counts using ERP systems • Support production tasks and adhere to schedules • Perform full part inspections and keep workspace clean and organized • Work with pressure‑containing vessels, testing equipment, and balancing equipment

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, three years of mechanical, maintenance, or assembly experience, and be able to work first‑shift hours with flexibility for overtime, possessing a valid driver’s license and the ability to thrive in a union environment. • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office • Read mechanical drawings • Minimum qualifications: high school diploma/GED and 3+ years mechanical/maintenance/assembly experience • Associate degree in mechanical assembly, automotive, industrial, or precision machining preferred • Strong attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication • Ability to work in a team, adapt to changing priorities, and operate in a union environment • Valid driver’s license and availability for 1st shift (6:25 am‑2:25 pm) with overtime flexibility
