About the Role
The role follows a consistent weekday schedule with evening hours, offering stable worktime and no weekend shifts, and is performed at a dedicated repair facility. In this role you will maintain a fleet that serves millions of customers, using modern tools to diagnose and repair a wide range of diesel and CNG equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on various vehicles. • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts. • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls. • Conduct vehicle safety checks. • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times. • Assist senior mechanics with project work. • Review and address repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. • Maintain a clean, safe work area following Corporate and OSHA standards.

What You Bring
• Minimum 2 years relevant mechanical experience. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States. • Ability to meet physical demands (frequent lifting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.). • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination. • Team‑oriented attitude; comfortable working independently; enjoys variety and problem solving. • Frequent exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals; occasional exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes. • Work performed both indoors (garage/shop) and outdoors in inclement weather. • May require a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel.
