Job Highlights
About the Role
The lead technical resource supports HVAC construction projects, monitors job status, controls costs, and ensures safety compliance. They build productive relationships with peers, customers, general contractors, and subcontractors, and may oversee third‑party resources and other apprentices or journeymen on site. • Provide support on HVAC construction projects. • Serve as lead technical resource for assigned jobs. • Report job status and performance metrics. • Control and monitor project costs. • Develop and maintain relationships with peers, customers, GCs, and subcontractors. • Ensure use of PPE and promote safe vehicle operation. • Enforce compliance with installation policies, project tracking, safety, and attendance procedures. • Oversee third‑party resources when required. • Direct and supervise apprentices and journeymen on site. • Read and interpret blueprints for HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems. • Hang evaporation coils and install overhead hangers. • Apply jobsite safety practices and oversee safe work activities.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess solid knowledge of commercial HVAC installation, sheet‑metal and piping work, refrigeration equipment, and blueprint reading for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong mechanical skills, tool proficiency, and a commitment to jobsite safety are essential, as is the ability to work independently. Applicants should have a high school diploma, trade or technical training, and at least five years of hands‑on experience in commercial HVAC construction and major market remodeling. Familiarity with HVAC products, tools, and duct‑fitting detailing is required. • Demonstrate HVAC installation knowledge and sheet‑metal/piping expertise. • Operate hand and power tools with strong mechanical skills. • Work independently with minimal supervision. • Hold a high school diploma and trade or technical school training. • Bring 5+ years of construction experience, focusing on commercial HVAC and market remodeling. • Know commercial HVAC products, tools, refrigeration equipment, and duct‑fitting details.
