About the Role

The position works a regular schedule of Monday‑Friday, 6 am‑4 pm, with rotating Saturdays, at WM’s landfill and recycling facilities in West Palm Beach, Florida, providing predictable hours for financial security. Operators work heavy equipment at recycling sites that serve over 20 million customers, playing a vital role in WM’s waste‑disposal operations. • Operate bulldozers, scrapers, front‑end loaders, and other heavy equipment following safety policies. • Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate logs. • Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment. • Follow standard operating procedures for equipment operation and upkeep. • Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
