About the Role

Key duties include supporting marketing initiatives, assisting with capture planning and proposal development, conducting research, and maintaining up-to-date qualification materials. • Actively learn Layton’s portfolio, services, and market needs through proposals, training, and peer discussions. • Create marketing collateral such as brochures, brown‑bag materials, and presentations that highlight technical capabilities. • Coordinate pursuit activities: team alignment, messaging, formatting, proofreading, graphics integration, editing, quality reviews, compliance checks, and brand adherence. • Develop and refine proposal content and other collateral under supervisory direction. • Conduct research to gather qualifications, experience matrices, project descriptions, resumes, and competitor data. • Respond to client information requests and maintain organized, current qualification statements and resumes. • Update and manage proposal content libraries, including Cosential, Adobe Creative Cloud, and boilerplate resources. • Provide consistently high customer service and incorporate best practices into business development support. • Seek input, identify development opportunities, and leverage resources to improve proposal processes.

The position offers a salary of $75,000‑$85,000, a target bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1‑3 years of proposal coordination experience, superior persuasive writing and presentation abilities. • Preferred: Experience in the AEC industry and proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
