About the Role
The role is responsible for coordinating and sampling inbound hazardous and non‑hazardous materials, ensuring that all inbound materials comply with facility, state, and federal regulations and are routed correctly for disposal. The incumbent will monitor compliance throughout the receiving process and collaborate with internal and external parties to maintain safe handling practices. Key duties include arranging and tracking waste shipments, maintaining an accurate inventory of waste and reagents, and creating load compositions for outbound shipments to Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities. The employee generates shipping paperwork, coordinates schedules with transporters and TSDFs, and resolves any discrepancies in waste or inventory records. They also ensure proper segregation, storage, and safety of inbound materials while interacting with drivers to enforce safety procedures. • Arrange and track shipments of waste to disposal locations. • Maintain accurate inventory of waste and reagents on site. • Create load compositions for outbound shipments to Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF). • Generate shipping paperwork and coordinate schedules with transporters and TSDFs. • Identify and resolve waste discrepancies and inventory paperwork issues. • Ensure proper segregation, storage, and safe handling of inbound materials. • Enter inbound shipments into the tracking database and report discrepancies. • Interact with drivers, enforcing safety procedures on company property. • Submit inbound receipts promptly to meet financial and month‑end deadlines. • Assist with warehouse and drum‑pad housekeeping and review/sign manifests as needed.
