About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Aeroengine Technical Representative in Montreal, joining a 12‑person technical team within the Engineering department. The role delivers routine technical outputs that support and improve MRO shop visits, ensuring compliance with company policies, airworthiness regulations, business needs and customer expectations. It also backs Business & Engineering departmental activities as required. • Act as the technical “engine owner,” monitor issues, ensure delivery timelines, and escalates recovery actions. • Define and control generic and specific engine configurations using SAP BOM. • Prepare work scopes and associated shop‑visit documentation. • Support Work‑In‑Progress to meet reliability, cost, and schedule KPI targets. • Document engine condition with OEM to support safety management, investigations, life‑assessment, cost‑reduction initiatives, scrap reviews, and generate condition reports. • Assist manufacturing engineers with site change control, providing cost, time, skill and parts data for business commitment acceptance. • Evaluate and address operational queries according to OEM manuals within agreed SLAs. • Contribute to continuous improvement through local PMO, global standardization and RRMS/RRPS initiatives. • Prepare and issue work instructions on request.

What You Bring
Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and will be contacted only if selected for further consideration. • Degree or DEC in aeronautics or aircraft maintenance with at least 3 years of relevant experience. • Deep understanding of gas‑turbine engines and repair/overhaul activities, including airworthiness regulations. • Bilingual in French and English. • Canadian citizen or permanent resident. • Strong technical writing abilities and flexibility to work modified hours. • Engineering degree preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. • Working knowledge of SAP functions related to production, inspection, and task planning. • Familiarity with test/engine systems. • Customer‑focused team player capable of effective cross‑functional decision making.
