About the Role

The Assistant Superintendent coordinates field operations for designated areas and trades on construction projects, ensuring that work follows the planned sequence and schedule while upholding safety and quality standards. In this role, the individual oversees installation activities in line with contract documents and milestone dates, manages equipment and material deliveries, and directs the field workforce to achieve cost‑effective outcomes, monitoring budgets and addressing any variances. • Supervise and coordinate installation work according to contract documents and project schedule. • Track and meet project milestone dates and associated requirements. • Plan and optimize equipment utilization based on activity duration. • Monitor scheduled delivery dates for materials and equipment impacting assigned trades. • Manage field workforce to ensure cost‑effective execution of work. • Identify cost deviations from budget and implement corrective actions. • Implement safety program and conduct regular safety inspections. • Establish hazard recognition procedures for new activities. • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. • Recruit, hire, and retain top industry talent for the Clark team.

What You Bring

Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related field (preferred) and 3 to 6 years of construction management experience in a supervisory capacity, with a solid grasp of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower. Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 is considered a plus. • Demonstrated ability to direct subcontractors and suppliers. • Knowledge of OSHA and other safety and government regulations.
