About the Role

• Support data-center startups by performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks. • Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems in food and beverage industries. • Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on-site. • Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams. • Follow rotating travel schedules (e.g., 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, or 14 on‑7 off) across North America.

Our four-week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals for field assignments, and success requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking. • Must have a genuine love of travel and be prepared for extended away-from-home rotations. • Possess working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking. • Demonstrate adaptability, grit, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities. • Live within 50 miles of a major airport (relocation assistance available) and have a personal vehicle within 45 days of hire. • Authorized to work in the United States. • Hold a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering. • Physical ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and work in varied environments (construction sites, outdoors, hot/cold).

Benefits

Compensation starts at $60-$75K with per-diem, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses, plus merit raises and a 5% salary increase after six months. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, a matching 401(k), disability coverage, paid vacation and flexible time off after 18 months.
