About the Role
The ICT Associate Director role sits within our Building Engineering Division in the UK and is part of the Security & Technology team. Reporting to senior leadership, the incumbent will design and advise on information‑communication‑technology solutions that complement mechanical and electrical engineering services across office fit‑outs, mixed‑use developments, industrial sites and public‑sector projects. The position is responsible for designing ICT solutions that work in concert with mechanical, electrical and other building systems, and for overseeing construction‑phase activities to guarantee successful implementation and performance. • Design communication rooms, ICT cabinets, structured cabling, telecoms, wireless networks, LAN switch networks and connected real‑estate solutions. • Integrate third‑party IP technologies such as CCTV, access control, AV/multimedia (IPTV, digital signage, room‑booking) and building‑management systems (lighting control, BMS). • Lead client design team meetings and conduct site inspections during the construction phase. • Analyse test results and perform witness testing to verify system performance. • Develop work plans, define tasks and deliver high‑quality technical outputs while applying broad expertise and a recognized specialization.

What You Bring
Candidates should possess extensive experience in design‑led consultancy projects, hold a Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) credential, and have an engineering degree that provides a solid technical foundation.
