About the Role
Interns will support project managers and field leads on wetland delineations, wildlife and botanical surveys, and compliance monitoring, while also handling office tasks such as data clean‑up and reporting for the Natural Resources team. The role may require 50‑75 % fieldwork, including long hikes, equipment loads up to 40 lb, and work in all weather conditions, following SWCA’s safety program and promptly addressing hazards. • Support project managers with wetland, wildlife, botanical surveys and compliance monitoring. • Perform office tasks including data clean‑up and reporting for the Natural Resources team. • Conduct fieldwork across Massachusetts and nearby states, often involving long hikes and equipment handling up to 40 lb. • Follow SWCA safety program and promptly report hazards.

What You Bring
Applicants should be current juniors or seniors (or recent graduates) pursuing a bachelor's degree in an environmental‑related field, must be Massachusetts residents or students, and possess experience with natural‑resources fieldwork and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additional helpful skills include familiarity with GPS devices, digital data collection, ArcGIS, and technical writing. Benefits
The internship runs from early June to mid‑August 2026, with flexibility for early start or extension beyond August.
