About the Role
The Application Engineer – Upstream Chemicals provides technical expertise throughout the pre‑ITO process, leading analytical and design activities while collaborating with commercial and cross‑functional teams. The role helps translate client needs into optimized product definitions and strategic solutions, and regularly briefs senior leaders on technical progress. • Conduct technical analysis of client needs, defining and optimizing products, scope, schedule, and cost. • Calculate performance and efficiency of plants, systems, and equipment. • Document technical specifications and costing elements for contract execution, including OTR customization. • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and methodologies. • Present technical solutions to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. • Develop cross‑technology solutions and collaborate on multi‑disciplinary projects.

What You Bring
Successful candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and bring at least five years of experience in upstream chemicals, including hands‑on screening, performance testing and blending of demulsifier chemistries. They must be capable of evaluating plant and equipment efficiency and comfortable working in a flexible, results‑oriented environment. • Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. • Possess at least five years of experience in upstream chemicals and demulsifier chemistry screening/testing. • Demonstrate ability to work flexibly and adapt work style to deliver results.
