About the Role

The internship runs from mid‑May through mid‑August at GFT, an award‑winning architecture, engineering, and construction firm. GFT delivers construction and program management services with a focus on excellence, safety, innovation, and sustainability, overseeing every phase to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet high quality standards. Interns join a high‑performing team and receive guidance, supervision, and mentorship from experienced construction leaders. The role is designed to transition interns to full‑time positions, as the majority of past interns are converted to employees. • Support client projects by observing and inspecting construction activities. • Interface with project teams and task managers. • Review and update submittal status reports. • Assist in preparing schedule reports. • Maintain project files, documentation, and logs. • Manage the online project document control system. • Attend project meetings and take minutes.

What You Bring

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field and show a genuine interest in construction management through coursework or prior experience. Benefits

Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and location, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
