About the Role
• Set up and take down cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment. • Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity. • Follow all safety rules taught in training. • Communicate with crew and supervisor. • Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe. • Work outdoors in all weather conditions. • Stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift; shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. • Stay alert around moving traffic and consistently follow safety rules. • Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect. • Provide your own steel‑toe safety boots that cover the ankle.

What You Bring
Work is performed outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions, requiring you to stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift. Shifts may vary, including nights, weekends, or emergency assignments, and you will be equipped with a hard hat, goggles, vest, whistle, walkie‑talkie, and weather gear; you must provide steel‑toe boots. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long periods. • Ability to lift 40–50 pounds. • Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather. • Pass pre‑hire screening, including drug test. • Paid training and traffic safety certification.
