Job Highlights
About the Role
• Support or lead design engineering on infrastructure projects such as rail/vehicular tunnels and water/wastewater facilities in the U.S. and Canada. • Perform power system calculations (short circuit, arc flash, load flow, OCPD coordination) using SKM or ETAP software. • Conduct lighting design and photometric calculations for transit facilities with AGI32 and Elum Tools according to IES standards. • Prepare and review design drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and Autodesk Revit. • Carry out field inspections and site surveys for electrical, instrumentation, control, AC power, and communication systems; produce detailed reports. • Develop bill of quantities and cost documentation. • Assist business development by preparing scope and cost proposals to win work.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Systems and Renewable Energy Design. • Professional Engineering (PE) license or FE/EIT status with intent to obtain PE within 12 months; OSHA 10 certification. • Minimum three years experience in lighting design for transit facilities and low‑voltage substation design. • Experience conducting site surveys and inspections for electrical, AC power, and communication systems. • Proficiency with photometric simulation tools (AGI32, ElumTools) and CAD software (MicroStation, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks). • Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, 130, 502, OSHA, NESC, and IESNA design criteria. • Experience on large‑scale, multi‑million‑dollar transportation construction projects with aggressive delivery schedules. • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines. • Basic understanding of SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems.
