About the Role

The Project Manager leads all phases of construction, from budgeting and bidding through cost control, client relations, and project closeout, while reporting and achieving financial goals. This role ensures effective communication, documentation, and risk mitigation across internal teams, trade partners, and designers. • Lead RFP responses, develop presentations, and pitch to clients. • Maintain clear communication within internal teams, trade partners, and design staff. • Control project documentation and reporting to clients. • Prepare and submit accurate budgets, bids, and scope reviews. • Manage cost control, monitor general conditions, labor, and monthly billing. • Secure complete subcontracts and certificates of insurance from qualified trade partners. • Coordinate closely with the superintendent through regular site visits. • Oversee efficient project closeout, including punch‑list completion and financial finalization. • Support client retention by adding value during preconstruction and ensuring accurate cost forecasting and billing. • Drive business development through networking, industry events, and client relationship management. • Utilize Clune’s systems and technology to meet high performance standards. • Mentor and role‑model for interns, project engineers, and assistant project managers. • Supervise Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Intern as needed.

What You Bring

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong conflict‑resolution and communication skills. • Demonstrate strong estimating, budgeting, and drawing‑review abilities. • Minimum 5 years’ construction project management experience, including 2–3 years in commercial construction. • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred; strong work experience considered.
