About the Role

What You’ll Do. You’ll keep automation projects moving by supporting data‑center startups, performing on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, and leading startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems. You’ll partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on‑site, providing clear communication and updates to customers and project teams. Travel rotations follow a days‑on/days‑off schedule such as 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, or 14 on‑7 off, giving you exposure to new challenges and locations. • Support data‑center startups and perform on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks • Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems • Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on‑site • Communicate progress and updates clearly to customers and project teams • Travel on rotating schedules (e.g., 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, 14 on‑7 off) across North America

Candidates must live within 50 miles of a major airport, have a personal vehicle within 45 days of employment, be authorized to work in the U.S., and hold a technical degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering. Physical Requirements. The role requires walking long distances across large facilities, climbing ladders or working at heights, lifting and moving up to 50 lb, and standing, kneeling, or reaching for extended periods in varied environments such as construction sites, outdoors, hot or cold conditions.
