About the Role

• Oversee volume growth, profitability, marketing, inventory, installation, and safety compliance for the Worktools division. • Develop and execute sales strategies for standalone worktools and attachments, tracking KPIs for revenue and margin. • Control costs related to trades, rentals, repairs, depreciation, and installation; optimize pricing and manufacturer programs. • Partner with marketing to run internal and external campaigns, website content, store displays, and trade shows. • Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize aged stock, and manage component inventory processes. • Provide competitive data, pricing strategies, and technical expertise to sales and service teams. • Lead ongoing training programs (in‑person, online, field) for customer‑facing and service staff. • Manage vendor relationships to ensure support for sales, technical, parts, and warranty needs. • Oversee installation cost control, conduct regular audits, and enforce safety standards. • Drive digital transformation by adopting CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), analytics platforms, and other digital tools. • Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Service Managers across six states through regular visits. • Deliver performance updates to senior leadership, highlighting growth drivers and corrective actions. • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑impact team, fostering collaboration and accountability. • Lead special projects, assess risks, and guide senior management decisions when approved.

What You Bring

Milton CAT is seeking a dynamic General Manager for our Worktools Division. This role is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the Worktools business. The ideal candidate will lead strategies for sales, marketing, inventory management, technical support, and training, while ensuring strong collaboration across teams and vendors. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum three years of heavy‑equipment sales experience, preferably in parts and service. • Proven leadership in sales, operations, or product management with supervisory experience. • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across departments and external partners. • Proficiency with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and data‑analytics tools.

Benefits

The position offers a base salary of $115,000‑$130,000 plus bonus eligibility. Travel expectations are up to 50% in the first year and about 25% thereafter to store locations and meetings.
