About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work—and assists with make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic repairs, including pool maintenance and chemical logging. • Assist with scheduling and executing maintenance‑related turn events and make‑ready tasks. • Maintain clean exterior grounds, breezeways, and common areas; conduct daily inspections to identify hazards. • Uphold Asset Living policies, safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and hazard communication programs. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and inventory supplies as needed. • Record service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready status accurately. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies consistently. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and report any rule violations. • Meet physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting 100+ lb objects, working in confined spaces, and operating power tools and vehicles.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills; understand Fair Housing and OSHA requirements. • Possess reliable transportation to fulfill on‑call emergency duties.

Benefits
