About the Role

The Aerospace Engineering Intern will help turn innovative designs into reality by supporting prototyping, testing, data collection, and cross‑functional engineering coordination. This 12‑week internship is based at our headquarters in San Diego, CA, and requires a fast‑paced, iterative development mindset. You will work alongside our engineering team to drive execution across the full development lifecycle of unmanned aerial systems. The role demands speed, ingenuity, and a relentless commitment to engineering excellence. • Support prototyping, testing, and data collection for unmanned aerial systems. • Coordinate cross‑functional engineering efforts across the full development lifecycle. • Assist with project documentation and maintain detailed records. • Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations as a U.S. Person. • Contribute to fast‑paced, iterative development environments.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related field. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple teams. • Possess effective communication and collaborative skills. • Experience in project coordination or support. • Preferred: Hands‑on experience with lab equipment, prototyping, or assembly. • Preferred: Familiarity with DoD or aerospace contexts.

Compensation ranges from $28 to $32 per hour, reflecting experience, education, and market factors. This hourly rate may adjust based on our evolving compensation structure.
