About the Role
Reporting to the Business Unit Director – AMEA, the Sales Representative Middle East drives commercial growth of ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation solutions across the Middle East’s Marine and Industrial segments. The role emphasizes project sales, key‑account development, and channel management, working with owners, EPCs, shipyards, contractors, and local partners to place ProRox and SeaRox products in major projects. Temporary commercial support for selected African markets is also required to maintain continuity of customer engagement. Key responsibilities include executing the regional sales strategy for Marine and Industry, driving early‑stage engagement at FEED/design phases, and building strong relationships with owners, operators, EPC contractors, shipyards, and insulation distributors. The role also requires preparing sales forecasts, reports and budgets, providing technical support, leading commercial discussions for large projects, and negotiating offers, pricing, and discount structures to ensure smooth order execution. In addition, the representative will develop and manage distributors and agents across Africa, guide partners on pricing, supply‑chain, product positioning, and market development, and monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategies. The ideal candidate has at least five years of project‑sales experience in industrial or marine sectors, a technical or business‑related degree is a plus, and possesses strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Execute regional sales strategy for Marine & Industry segments in the Middle East. • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and major projects. • Drive early‑stage engagement at FEED/design phase to influence specifications. • Build and maintain relationships with owners, EPCs, shipyards, and insulation distributors. • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets; provide technical support to clients. • Lead commercial discussions for large projects and negotiate offers, pricing, and discounts. • Develop and manage distributors and agents across Africa, guiding pricing and market positioning. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to shape business strategy.
