About the Role

The Landscape Account Manager oversees all aspects of landscape maintenance accounts within an assigned geographic area. This role manages client relationships, supervises field operations, ensures quality standards, drives operational efficiency, and supports personnel development. • Oversee daily landscape maintenance activities, ensuring efficient workflow, safety, and contract compliance. • Develop and implement operations plans for clients and crews. • Coordinate routing and scheduling to optimize efficiency. • Monitor irrigation system performance. • Manage crew equipment needs. • Identify and report out‑of‑scope work. • Conduct routine property inspections. • Provide weekly property updates and audits. • Review service tickets. • Implement improved techniques and practices. • Maintain proactive communication with clients. • Respond to client requests within one business day. • Manage contract discussions and renewals. • Support training and coaching of crew members. • Participate in hiring and performance management. • Mentor employees for advancement. • Enforce policies and procedures. • Monitor labor trends and budgets. • Ensure proper billing for extra work. • Review records and contract compliance. • Ensure safe work practices and site conditions. • Analyze incidents and address trends. • Support safety training programs. • Respond promptly to safety concerns.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold an advanced degree and possess at least eight years of experience in landscape maintenance. A valid driver’s license with a clean record, a commercial pesticide license, and fluency in English (Spanish a plus) are required, along with strong math, problem‑solving abilities, and the capability to distinguish colors across visual ranges. All applicants must successfully complete a pre‑employment drug screen, a criminal background check, and meet the company’s insurance standards for a clean driving record. Failure to meet these criteria will result in disqualification from the hiring process. • Advanced degree plus 8+ years of landscape maintenance experience. • Valid driver’s license and good driving record. • Commercial pesticide license. • English fluency; Spanish preferred. • Strong math and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to distinguish colors and work with various visual ranges.
