About the Role

• Conduct test and evaluation of RF systems and waveforms to ensure performance, reliability, and Defence alignment. • Maintain serviceability of RF test equipment to support operational readiness. • Provide SME advice on RF systems and combat platforms, including EMI/EMC considerations, and coordinate engineering across Defence stakeholders. • Support development, deployment, and improvement of RF test tools and test plans, contributing to TCNBL and broader Defence capability. • Lead operational analysis, risk‑reduction activities, and acceptance testing while upholding APS conduct, ethics, and safety standards. • Produce high‑quality technical documentation for engineering, testing, and system assurance activities. • Develop software or write acceptance test procedures to contribute to tool development and validation workflows. • Manage data and configuration, maintaining documentation, baselines, and controlled system changes. • Deliver meaningful work that protects Australia and shapes its future.

What You Bring

• Hold tertiary qualifications in RF Engineering. • Apply knowledge of deployable ADF command‑and‑control systems and large‑scale virtualised environments (ESXi) for Defence‑focused tasks. • Maintain a Minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher security clearance; comply with ITAR where required.
