About the Role
The Area Sales Manager (Service) position is based in various locations across the UK and is a full‑time permanent role. Reporting to the Service team, the manager is responsible for growing the recurring‑revenue account base, also known as service agreement customers. The role involves prospecting, researching and qualifying potential customers using Carrier’s equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories and competitor sites. The manager delivers sales presentations, conducts needs assessments, and secures new maintenance agreements while establishing rapport and understanding prospects’ budgets, decision‑making processes and timelines. Site surveys and facility walkthroughs are performed to evaluate equipment conditions and create proposals for maintenance, remedial work and aftermarket services. Sales tools such as Salesforce are used to track opportunities and a close partnership with operations ensures quality delivery and issue resolution. • Prospect and qualify new customers using Carrier’s installed base, referrals and internal leads. • Deliver tailored sales presentations and conduct needs assessments to secure maintenance agreements. • Perform site surveys to evaluate equipment and propose aftermarket services. • Track opportunities and manage pipeline using Salesforce. • Collaborate with operations to ensure quality delivery and resolve customer issues.

What You Bring
Successful candidates thrive in a fast‑paced environment, excel at relationship building and provide outstanding customer service. A strong service‑sales background is required, with familiarity in the chiller, HVAC or heat‑pump market considered a plus, or the ability to acquire that knowledge quickly.
