What You Bring
The Wind Site Technician will ensure smooth turbine operation by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and addressing system issues. The position is open to candidates with backgrounds in wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy‑machinery sectors and is critical to delivering clean, reliable energy to local communities. • Hold at least 6 months of Wind Technician certification, 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities and an engaged work approach. • Work well with others in collaborative environments. • Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions and at heights. • Speak, read, and follow instructions in English. • Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and legal U.S. work authorization. • Established safety culture and inclusive, collaborative workplace. • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 100 m. • Lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lb; total PPE and gear weight not exceeding 300 lb. • Required visual, hearing, and manual dexterity abilities; use of telephones/radios. • Obtain certifications in LOTO, electrical qualification, fall arrest, high‑angle rescue, and confined‑space entry.
