About the Role

The Bar Manager will be responsible for daily bar operations such as inventory control, ordering, cash handling, and cost management, while also crafting and executing an innovative beverage program that spans cocktails, wine, beer, and non‑alcoholic options. Collaboration with senior leadership on menus, promotions, and special events, as well as conducting pre‑shift briefings and training sessions, are key components of the role. • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing bar team. • Oversee daily bar operations including inventory, ordering, cash handling, and cost control. • Create and execute innovative beverage programs across cocktails, wine, beer, and non‑alcoholic options. • Drive guest engagement through storytelling and elevated service. • Partner with leadership on menus, promotions, and special events. • Conduct pre‑shift briefings and Beverage School training sessions. • Manage scheduling, training, performance reviews, and staff development. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations. • Maintain immaculate bar standards during peak service. • Build and manage supplier relationships; monitor costs, waste, and profitability. • Lead confidently during busy services and high‑profile events.

Ideal candidates bring at least four years of bartending experience in high‑volume or upscale settings and two to five years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. They possess deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, strong leadership and communication skills, familiarity with POS systems (TOAST a plus), and either a Food Safe/ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain one. • Minimum 4 + years bartending experience in high‑volume or upscale venues. • 2–5 years experience in bar leadership or management. • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and cost controls. • Proven leadership, communication, and team‑development skills. • Comfortable with POS systems; TOAST experience a plus. • Food Safe / ServSafe certification or ability to obtain. • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. • Calm, confident decision‑maker under pressure.
