About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager position sits within Property and Asset Management and is responsible for daily site operations and ensuring technical services meet client requirements. The role requires overseeing building systems, maintaining asset documentation, managing staff, budgeting, monitoring SLA and KPI performance, handling vendor relations, leading preventive maintenance, conducting risk analysis, administering inventory control, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. • Oversee building systems including fire/life safety, MEP, and critical utilities. • Manage documentation of assets, defect liability periods, and AMC/CAMC trackers. • Hire, train, and develop shift engineers and maintenance staff. • Control budgeting and monitor SLA/KPI performance for internal and outsourced teams. • Ensure timely renewal of agreements, invoice submission, and payment follow‑ups. • Review vendor quotations, invoices, and obtain cost sheet approvals. • Lead preventive maintenance programs and implement improvements. • Conduct risk and root‑cause analysis of system failures and develop corrective actions. • Administer inventory control for parts procurement and utilization. • Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and engineers; maintain service/repair contracts.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is analytical, meticulous, and detail‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving abilities, teamwork and management skills, and excellent written and oral communication. Multitasking efficiency is essential. Qualifications include a degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Marine Engineering (or equivalent) and a minimum of four to five years of experience in the facility, real‑estate, hotel, or construction industry, preferably with residential site exposure and a solid understanding of safety and environmental concerns. • Degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Marine Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum 4‑5 years experience in facility, real‑estate, hotel, or construction industry; residential experience preferred. • Strong analytical, detail‑oriented problem‑solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
