About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Manager (Temp) at Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and vendor transactions. The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, and offers the chance to directly improve the division’s financial operations. You will collaborate with AP clerks, the Finance team, and internal stakeholders to uphold policies, maintain smooth payment processes, and support audits. This temporary, on‑site position is based in Wheatland, PA. • Coach and guide AP clerks in the processing of invoices and payments in SAP, ensuring compliance with internal policies. • Review vendor master changes and bank detail updates to maintain accuracy and mitigate fraud risk. • Manage Concur expense reporting, including user setup, credit card management, policy compliance, and reporting. • Oversee payment processes including weekly check and ACH runs, blocked items, capital invoice approvals, and cash forecasting. • Support audits and maintain documentation for AP subledger reconciliations, GRIR accounts, lease reconciliations, and utility tracking.

What You Bring

Success in this role will be measured by the efficiency and accuracy of AP functions and the support provided to the finance organization. • 3–5 years of accounting experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in high-volume AP within a manufacturing environment. • College diploma in Accounting or related field required. • Proficient in SAP and spreadsheet software; strong knowledge of ERP systems and reporting platforms. • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Demonstrates leadership in coaching, mentoring, and guiding team members.
