About the Role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our federal team based in Huntsville, AL. This role will support Project Managers, Operations Teams, and Engineering teams to ensure consistent delivery of construction documentation (RFIs, RFPs, submittals, invoices), reports, tasks and assignments for a portfolio of projects going on simultaneously. • Process RFIs, RFPs, submittals and subcontract documentation while tracking costs and invoicing customers. • Perform administrative tasks to meet project and sales financial commitments. • Manage contract changes, labor and material tickets, and service order management. • Generate and organize subcontract agreements, insurance waivers, bonding info, and resolve invoice issues. • Maintain project files, gather communications and proposals, and complete closeout checklists. • Compile submittal packages with diagrams, schedules, and bill of materials for technicians and engineers. • Procure and track project materials using electronic purchasing tools. • Enter project schedules, dates, and cost estimates into the tracking system. • Coordinate safety programs, verify toolbox training, and ensure proper safety equipment. • Provide additional support tasks as needed for the project team.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include experience supporting project teams in construction or building maintenance, proficient computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office, and strong interpersonal communication. Preferred qualifications are government contracting experience, familiarity with construction documentation, proficiency with Microsoft Project, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to prioritize work based on financial impact. Education: High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred, with experience in project accounting or costing principles.

Benefits

Shift: First shift/Day shift hours, Monday • Friday. Pay Range: $24.00 • $34.00 per hour ($50,000 • $70,000 annual) based on experience. Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment. Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation per calendar year. Travel Required: Very limited.
