About the Role
• Perform site observations of earthwork, utility backfill, excavations, foundation construction, and conduct material testing and special inspections. • Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure compliance with construction specifications. • Travel to job sites using company vehicles and interact with design teams, building officials, contractors, and clients. • Prepare and submit technical reports. • Maintain continuous communication with project managers while on site.

What You Bring
GMC is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician for the Arkansas (near Little Rock) area. This position allows the technician to apply engineering experience to support construction projects. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record. • ACI field concrete testing certification. • Radiation safety certification. • Prior construction experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • ICC Special Inspection certifications. • Field soils testing experience.
