About the Role

In this role you will conduct field inspections, perform construction quality assurance, and oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities across multiple commercial sites. You will complete checklists, identify code compliance issues, document deficiencies as punch‑list items, and coordinate energization blockers while collaborating with project managers during weekly program syncs. Key duties include presenting overall project status to clients, managing site schedules, travel, and budgets, and engaging with multiple stakeholder groups onsite. You will inspect and verify low, medium (480 V), and high‑voltage systems, supervise NETA‑qualified vendor testing of transformers, relays, and cable integrity, and ensure compliance with client processes. • Conduct field inspections and construction quality assurance for commercial electrical projects. • Oversee NETA‑qualified testing of low, medium, and high voltage systems, including transformers, relays, and cable integrity. • Complete checklists, identify code compliance issues, and document punch‑list items. • Present project status to clients through discussions, presentations, and reports. • Manage site schedules, travel logistics, client communications, and project budgets. • Coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups and ensure timely on‑site attendance. • Perform automatic transfer switch troubleshooting and verify switchgear and circuit breaker performance. • Evaluate transformer test results (Doble, TTR, insulation resistance) and cable test data (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot). • Develop and convey findings to public or private entities and maintain thorough documentation. • Travel up to 75% of time to commercial customer sites across the United States.

What You Bring

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least five years of field electrical maintenance experience in EPC or similar commercial projects, and the ability to diagnose deficiencies and energization blockers. Proficiency with medium‑voltage infrastructure, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and excellent communication skills are essential. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, with potential RSUs and a full benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and professional development opportunities. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of EPC field experience. • Demonstrate expertise with medium‑voltage infrastructure, relay calibration, and power metering. • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Adobe/Bluebeam, and Smartsheet. • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work in small teams during outages.
