Job Highlights
About the Role
Hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, arbor presses, vises, soldering irons, micrometers, calipers, and indicators are regularly utilized. The assembler performs visual inspections during and after assembly, and may act as an operator/inspector to verify work for others. Completed units are inspected, tested, and adjusted to meet specifications and tolerances, and appropriate tooling and gauging are determined as needed. All work must comply with safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment. The employee is expected to meet departmental safety objectives and maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. • Assemble, align, and fasten parts to assemblies using hand and power tools • Disassemble and reassemble returned products for repair • Follow routing sheets and instruction documents for proper assembly • Perform visual inspections during and after assembly • Act as operator/inspector to verify work of others • Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications • Determine appropriate tooling and special gauges required • Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards • Provide reasonable accommodations for disability‑related needs

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have at least two years of mechanical assembly experience.
