About the Role

The Sr. Road Mechanic will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment—including aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil‑&‑gas gear—both at customer sites and in the shop, participating in an on‑call rotation. The role requires safe, effective service to minimize downtime and may involve traveling to different locations within the Lower Mainland. • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil‑&‑gas equipment. • Service customers on‑site and in‑shop, adhering to safety standards to minimize equipment downtime. • Participate in mandatory on‑call rotation and travel across the Lower Mainland. • Utilize and maintain a fully equipped service truck and required PPE. • Provide troubleshooting for hydraulic and electrical systems.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, preferably trade‑school training, and 1‑3 years of experience with diesel or heavy‑construction equipment. A valid driver’s license, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and the physical ability to lift 50 lb and work in varied environments are required. The company promotes internal growth to roles such as shop foreman, operations manager or branch leader. • Follow physical demands: bend, squat, lift 50 lb or more, work indoors/outdoors. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; trade‑school training preferred. • Possess 1‑3 years of experience with diesel or heavy‑construction equipment. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Demonstrate flexibility in a fast‑paced environment and strong problem‑solving skills.
