About the Role

Key responsibilities include striving for 100 % occupancy by retaining current residents and leasing available units, embodying the Guest Experience through warm greetings and relationship building, and using Book & Ladder policies to customize exceptional experiences. The role requires timely follow‑up to close sales, conducting on‑site and off‑site leasing activities such as tours, phone calls, events, and housing fairs, and maintaining accurate, real‑time records in the property‑management software. Additionally, the employee must manage clubhouse operating hours, ensure clean tour routes and model units, and act as a leader championing exemplary service and teamwork. Other duties involve knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity requirements, assisting with annual apartment turn‑overs, participating in required continuing education and in‑service training, and ensuring compliance with company policies, local, state, and federal laws. What You Bring

Qualifications include at least one year of experience in the student‑housing industry, a high school diploma or GED preferred, strong written and verbal communication, organization, and the ability to manage tasks and people in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates must be proficient with basic computer programs (MS Office, Internet Explorer), hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to work evenings and weekends. Preferred qualities are an extroverted, can‑do attitude, collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and community partners, and embodying the Book & Ladder culture and pillars. The work environment is primarily office‑based with occasional indoor/outdoor duties, requiring occasional lifting of up to 20 lb, walking, climbing, and local travel for property needs, trainings, or meetings. • Meet qualifications: 1+ year student‑housing experience, high school diploma/GED, strong communication, organization, computer proficiency, valid driver’s license, and availability evenings/weekends. • Preferred: extroverted, collaborative, embody Book & Ladder culture, can‑do attitude.
