IDC Pavement General Worker
Perform road maintenance and pavement repair tasks on highways under IDC contract.

About the Role
• Perform pre‑seal repairs, pavement dig‑outs, high and low shoulder repairs, and water tabling. • Construct and maintain roads, cycleways, and footpaths. • Operate and maintain specialised machinery and tools. • Set up barricades, warning signs and direct traffic for site safety. • Fill potholes and seal cracks with precision repairs. • Prepare surfaces and remove debris; handle material levelling. • Manage safety procedures and ensure compliance with contract specifications. • Participate in ongoing training, development and career progression. • Use hand tools reliably and work without constant supervision.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a full Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 preferred), has WTR (preferred), and brings experience in roadworks or construction maintenance. You should be a reliable team player with good communication skills, capable of using hand tools, working independently, and flexible to a day or night roster as required. • Hold a full Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 preferred). • Possess a WTR (preferred but not essential). • Bring experience in roadworks or construction maintenance. • Demonstrate good teamwork and communication skills. • Be punctual, reliable and flexible to day/night rosters.
