About the Role

The role provides engineering support for explosion‑proof and hazardous‑area electrical equipment, requiring evaluation of customer drawings and specifications to propose standard or engineered solutions in line with NEC, IEC, and IECEx standards. Key duties include preparing technical and commercial offers, generating detailed general arrangement drawings and bills of materials using AutoCAD or Eplan, assembling complete project documentation for approval, and coordinating with material sourcing, project management, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless manufacturing and inspection processes. • Evaluate customer drawings to determine compliant standard or engineered solutions. • Prepare offers, data sheets, and bills of materials for panels, switch racks, breakers, starters, control stations, junction boxes, and lighting fixtures. • Create detailed general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD or Eplan. • Compile full project documentation for customer approval, including certificates and procedures. • Set up BOMs in SAP and verify material availability with the sourcing team. • Coordinate manufacturing activities with project management, production, and quality control. • Manage inspection test plans, FAT/QA‑QC documentation, and maintain manufacturing record books for close‑out. • Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries and project deviations.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 4–7 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, advanced Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, and excellent written and verbal English communication skills. • Apply knowledge of explosion‑proof/hazardous‑area electrical products and experience with major EPC contractors and oil‑&‑gas end users. • Demonstrate proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Windows, and drawing tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, and ESP.
