What You Bring

Qualifications include a BSEE degree from an ABET‑accredited program and at least seven years of experience designing medium‑voltage power systems. Candidates must be able to prioritize work, manage multiple projects within budget and time constraints, track schedules and expenditures, prepare status reports, and interface with clients, while demonstrating excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office. Valued but not required experience includes three or more years designing substations 138 kV and above, preparing grounding and shielding calculations, battery and charger sizing, and working with designers to develop single‑line, relaying, metering, DC schematic, and grounding plans, as well as familiarity with ANSI/IEEE/NEMA standards, a PE license, and AutoCAD.
