About the Role
As a Vendor Sourcing Team Lead, you will lead the charge in building and optimizing our nationwide vendor network, connecting the right people to the right projects quickly and efficiently. You will oversee a team that sources, screens, and onboards top‑tier subcontractors and suppliers across trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency repairs. Data analytics will be used to identify trends, spot opportunities, and make strategic decisions that keep the vendor database strong and agile. You will be hands‑on in negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards while building relationships that drive reliability and performance. Your mission is to deliver seamless, cost‑effective solutions that keep our clients’ facilities running smoothly. Support will also be provided to the Facilities Maintenance department and client facilities nationwide as needed. • Analyze data to identify trends and create actionable reports for vendor database optimization. • Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff while delivering professional development. • Communicate KPIs, goals, and responsibilities to the team. • Manage subcontractor relationships through regular calls and checks to ensure quality and timely delivery. • Evaluate and select vendors based on trade, location, price, quality, and speed. • Conduct vendor performance evaluations for quality and delivery compliance. • Process new vendor applications and collect required certifications, insurance, and contracts. • Negotiate contract terms to secure advantageous conditions. • Maintain up‑to‑date subcontractor documentation and ensure policy compliance. • Update the vendor/subcontractor database with certificates, W‑9s, credit terms, and qualifications. • Mediate and resolve vendor and subcontractor contract disputes. • Provide support to facilities maintenance and client locations nationwide. • Operate accurately in high‑volume environments with urgency, entering data into work‑order and accounting systems. • Apply a customer‑service mindset to build positive relationships with employees, vendors, and clients. • Utilize ERP work‑order systems, spreadsheets, email, calendars, and MS SharePoint daily. • Handle standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and phones. • Protect confidential financial and client information following data‑protection best practices. • Participate in 401(k) retirement plan.

What You Bring

Compensation for this position is $30.00 per hour, non‑exempt, and eligible for overtime. In this leadership role you will supervise, coach, and evaluate department staff, providing ongoing professional development to ensure team success.
